Amphiregulin (AR)

Amphiregulin (AR) is a bifunctional growth-modulating glycoprotein and member of the EGF family of cytokines. Amphiregulin inhibits growth of some cultured human carcinoma cells lines and stimulates the proliferation of human fibroblasts and certain other tumor cells.
